New Partnership: CONTENSI Becomes a Thomas-Krenn.AG Reseller

We are pleased to announce a new partnership: CONTENSI is now an official reseller in the Thomas-Krenn.AG partner network. The server manufacturer from the Bavarian Forest stands for individually configured systems made in Germany and offers its own Proxmox portfolio with certified hardware.

From proxtalks to partnership

We got to know each other better at proxtalks in Frankfurt, the Proxmox conference hosted by Thomas-Krenn. There we saw how much experience the team in Freyung brings to Proxmox environments. The conversations on site have now turned into an official collaboration.

Sovereignty does not end with software

When companies talk about digital sovereignty, the focus is usually on software: licensing models, cloud providers and where data is stored. The hardware underneath often remains a blind spot.

Yet it is worth taking a closer look here too:

  • Where are the systems built?
  • Who tests them before they go into the data centre?
  • How well do they fit the platform that is meant to run on them?

Especially when moving from VMware to open platforms such as Proxmox, these questions come up again. After all, a new virtualization platform often goes hand in hand with new hardware.

Who is Thomas-Krenn?

Thomas-Krenn.AG has been building custom server and storage systems since 2002. A few facts:

  • Build to order: Every system is configured to the customer’s requirements.
  • Made in Germany: All production takes place at the company’s site in Freyung in the Bavarian Forest.
  • Tested quality: Every system goes through standardised tests, and the company is certified to ISO 27001, among other standards.
  • Proxmox experience: Thomas-Krenn offers certified hardware for Proxmox and has expanded its portfolio with 24/7 support for Proxmox VE (in German).

What does this mean for you?

Through this partnership, we can offer you Thomas-Krenn systems directly, tailored to your platform and your requirements. In joint projects, we have dedicated sales and technical contacts at the manufacturer. This keeps communication short, for example when planning a Proxmox environment or responding to tenders.

Our core principle remains unchanged: CONTENSI stays vendor-neutral. Thomas-Krenn is another strong option in our portfolio, not the only one. Your requirements decide which hardware and which platform are right in the end. You can find an overview of our partners in our portfolio.

Conclusion

With Thomas-Krenn, we gain a partner that manufactures hardware in Germany and brings extensive Proxmox experience. For companies that care about origin and control, this is a valuable addition. We look forward to working with the team in Freyung!
